It's funny, but I'll confess that I've been feeling quite the opposite. I think I actually planned to clean, not sew for one day? Weird. Maybe I'm sick?
I have enlisted the hubble to do a weekly top to bottom clean with me, if we do it together it takes just over 2 hours of our saturday morning, and bam, weekend of sewing time!
Please do! Housework and laundry are so overrated!
ReplyDeleteI hear ya! My housework and quilt progress are inversely proportional, too.
ReplyDeleteSounds familiar. I start every day with good intentions of doing the "important" things first and sewing after, but it never ends up that way!

ReplyDeleteGoog luck quilting! I think it's easier sew when the house isn't a mess...sooo I clean to.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking yesterday I hadn't seen a post from you for a while and here it is! A balance between housework and quilting is a good thing!
ReplyDeleteha too funny. how true that is.
ReplyDeleteI was just thinking the same thing as I was coming downstairs from my sewing room and looking at my living room that seems as though a tornado hit it.
ReplyDeleteHousework does not stay "done." I vote for sewing!
ReplyDeleteHa!! love it-- i'm not alone! Hope you have a great week of sewing......
ReplyDeletei am the exact same jolene! seriously, the clean laundry will stay in a pile on my bedroom floor and i will sew instead! i like it.
