I do not prewash anything. When my quilt is completed I throw it in the washing machine for a regular cycle with warm water. Then I put it on low dry in my dryer. This makes it come out crinkly and soft. I wash my quilts regularly like this, just throw them in with my other loads of laundry.Jolenehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11129017092245557384noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2786121707879366131.post-88991747216444502592013-02-13T04:10:33.392-08:002013-02-13T04:10:33.392-08:00Complete and total LOVE for these quilts. I use to prewash the fabric and the batting before quilting, but i am a beginner quilter and I am not sure it's ok. These two quilts are made with non prewashed fabrics and batting and after washing get to look like this? because I love them? And how should I wash a quilt? machine wash, hand wash? I admit there is more then one question here, I got carried away by curiosity :)
Thank you so much,
DanaAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2786121707879366131.post-33063263166613772222013-02-12T20:09:31.125-08:002013-02-12T20:09:31.125-08:00I love the color combos in both! My last one was a total potpourri of a bunch of Halloween fabric I was trying to use up with accents of other colors. It was amazing how the fabrics all worked together. I highly recommend JRRQ for letting the fabric do what it will.
